Happy, happy day!

Some quick confetti and streamers here: the first chapter of my second book, Small Town Love, was just promoted to the next round of Harlequin's So You Think You Can Write contest!

AAAGGGH! YAAY!

Whew. *takes a deep breath*

Now it's back to editing/finishing the actual book. I have to hand it over on Monday! Best of luck to my other friends that have entered--a few lovely ladies in the MMRWA and fellow PHS alumni and talented author, Rachael Brownell

Sorry, just one more thing:

WOO!

  3. I'm guessing that they emailed you? Good luck in the next round. Let me know when I can vote so I can do it over and over and over again.

    1. Got it this morning. It was wonky luck, though, I think - for example there was another one in my same category that was AMAZING and didn't go through. Bonus, though - I can catch up on everything else (like YOUR book) once I submit the ms on Monday! Thank you!

    2. Don't count yourself out - you made it and that it FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC! Did they send you a list of all the entries that moved on?

    3. They didn't - I totally stalked Twitter for way to long today to try and figure it out. lol

    4. Ha, and I used that word today, too: FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC is exactly how I feel. :D

    5. I'm going to have to go stalk twitter now. I didn't receive an email so unless not all 50 have not been decided yet I didn't make the cut. I'm super happy for you though.

    6. That's weird - I know a lot of people were saying that they hadn't either. I do know that they're also keeping a reserve list and a call-back, so don't count yourself out either. I thought your entry was awesome!
