Trick-or-Treat: It's a Halloween Giveaway!

Welcome to the Haunted Open House Giveaway Blog Hop, hosted by Nancy Gideon!

Ack, she looked terrified, didn't she?

I'm so excited to participate in this shindig. This is the third year for Nancy's Haunted House, and it's totally spectacular. She has featured guests, Halloween games in the game room, awesome snacks and all kinds of trick-or-treat giveaways!

So, in honor of Fright Night next week, I want to know: what's your favorite kind of candy? I mean, when you're "safety checking" your children's spoils of war, you know there's always certain varieties that are "damaged" and must be "disposed of" at a later time--but put for now in Mommy or Daddy's pocket for safekeeping.  For me, it's anything KitKats. My 9 year-old has gotten smart and just hands them over right away. Pretty much, he pays me the KitKat tribute, and the rest is his.

What about you?

For my Halloween giveaway, one lucky winner will receive a bag of treats that will include a $10 Amazon gift card, a bag of Halloween candy (your favorite, if I can find it!) and a free e-copy of Lucky in Love. Rafflecopter will pick that winner. I'll also be using the old-fashioned, names-in-a-hat method to pull a bonus name, and that person will receive a top-secret, surprise bag of tricks.

Enter at your own risk... but do it quick--you've only got until midnight on October 30th! Bwahahaha!

  7. I love Reese's Peanut Butter Cups & 100 Grand Bars! Both so delicious! I'll eat most candy bars as long they aren't dark chocolate.

    1. Would you believe I've never tried a 100 Grand Bar? Maybe because I know it's false advertising and a candy bar can't make me rich. Unless it's a Payday, and then it's only temporary. lol

  10. My weakness, now that they make them for Halloween, are the creme eggs. For Halloween, they're called Screme Eggs! Mmmm...yum! :)

    1. Okay, so why is it when they make something a different shape, especially for Halloween, it tastes better? Something about the ratio of PB to chocolate? lol

  13. I love The Hershey Chocolate Nuggets :) However I am not supposed to eat chocolate anymore so my next favorite would have to be sugar daddy I love those caramel things even though they tend to get stuck on the roof of your mouth :)

    1. Oh, no! What kind of tragedy has chocolate banned from your life? I'm so sorry... but Sugar Daddies are yum, too, as long as you don't try to chew them. :)

  14. Picking one is hard. It's a toss up between Reese p-nut butter cups and Payday. I think I like Payday the best. Salt & caramel, yay!

    1. Salt and caramel are a terrific combination! I had the best cupcake one time: a mini chocolate cupcake with a nugget of melty caramel in the middle, dark chocolate frosting and salt sprinkled on top. MMmmMM....

  18. I'm a huge candy fan... I steal the peanut M&M's, the Rolos, and the Almond Joy/Mounds (kids didn't like coconut). Luckily for me, my kiddos never ate much candy so between all of us we usually had some that lasted until Easter!
